Stone Ridge Christian FFA recently celebrated a successful 16 Greenhand degree and 17 Chapter degree recipients during November. Currently, in their second year of being a part of the CA FFA Association, their FFA program contains almost half of the 150 student body at Stone Ridge Christian School. Thursday morning was the initiation ceremony, a new tradition for SRC FFA. Greenhand recipients get to stamp their hand with green paint and enjoy refreshments with the rest of their friends in celebration of their accomplishments. Later that night, members were recognized with a certificate and pin which they proudly display on their blue corduroy jacket. The Stone Ridge Christian FFA officer team diligently planned and hosted this banquet with the help of their mentor-advisor. The ceremony was a success, and students were excited to receive their award as an FFA member.
